Tubing Bundle
Tubing bundle heat tracing is a heat tracing system to prevent pipelines from freezing or to keep them within a certain temperature range.
The main features that distinguish tubing bundles from conventional heat tracing are:
- Pipe bundles, heating cables and insulation materials are together. Pre-insulated.
- They are usually ready to be fabricated.
- Suitable for low diameter pipes.
- Installation costs are low.
The whole system is more reliable in the long term. Maintenance needs are less.
Applications
- Winterization / Frost Protection
- Process Temperature Control
- Protecting Personnel from Burn Risk
- Keeping Gas Flows above condensation points
- To prevent condensation and crystallization
Endüstriler
Tubing Bundles are widely used in the following sectors.
- Oil and Gas Production
- Chemical plants
- Pharmaceutical Industry
- Energy Generation
- Pulp and paper
- Food Processing
- Other Process Industries
How to
In tubing bundles, both methods used in classical temperature monitoring can be used.
- Electric heat tracing
- Heat tracing with fluid
Electric heat tracing is done with heating cables placed in tube bundles. These cables are placed between the pipe bundles and the insulation.
Fluid heat tracing is provided by vapor pipes placed in tube bundles.
Isolation
For thermal insulation and protection of other components, bundles are usually insulated with polymer jackets.
The types of polymer jackets commonly used in the market are as follows:
- ATP (Arctic Thermoplastic)
TPU the outer jacket is used at extremely low temperatures. (Can be used at temperatures around-50
°C.)
